One of the funniest men on the planet, Patton Oswalt, joined Pete Holmes on the TPHS yesterday. You know that when Patton Oswalt is around some nerd talk is bound to creep it’s way into the conversation. Pete couldn’t help informing Patton that he’d recently been invited to a Dungeons and Dragons session. So, of course, Patton’s d&d experience was brought into play and the most joyous photo of the actor/comedian was unveiled.

If you’ve seen Patton perform comedy in recent years, you’ll know he will do anything to keep his child happy; for example, he made an 11-hour trek to find a piñata of Frozen‘s Elsa.

Show business gab wouldn’t be complete without some stories from movies gone bad. Patton shared his experience being on the set for the filming of Blade Trinity. Spoiler! Wesley Snipes is a method actor.

Mentions: Watch TPHS weeknights Midnight/11C on TBS. See Patton Oswalt at the Limestone Comedy Festival in Indiana May 29th.
