So the first YouTube Comedy Week came to a close this holiday weekend. The YouTube folks did a fabulous job of introducing a wide audience to video channels they may have never known about, as well as debuting young comedic talent. I will leave you with the highlights of Friday and Saturday’s events.

FRIDAY

1. Setlist Live: Comedians perform new material based on a subject they are seeing for the first time

The live event was hosted by Paul Provenza and featured Reggie Watts, Matt Kirshen, Kira Soltanovich, Moshe kasher, and Dan Van Kirk. Since they really do mean “LIVE,” video is no longer available to show you fabulous folks. To make up for that heinous news here is a taste of what Set List is like as performed at the Nerdmelt theatre.

TJ Miller

Bob Odenkirk

Rory Scovel

2. Music Night: Reggie Watts, Nice Peter, Nick Thune, Dragon Boy Suede, Nancy and Beth, Karen Kilgariff, Weird Al continued the live entertainment theme and rocked both hard and funny. Check out music vids from some of my favorite performers below:

LOOSEWORLD x Waverly Films: Reggie Watts in F_CK SH_T STACK from LOOSEWORLD on Vimeo.

Nick Thune

3. Smosh performing Dixon Cider: A small apple cider company in Dioxin is going bankrupt. Smosh made a video to help them out (which may not have been helpful).

SATURDAY

1. Top Amusing Animal Moments with Grace Helbig: Grace is so cute and boy does she dig animals.

2. David Mitchell‘s Top 10 Unseen Moments: My favorite British comedy star gives you his Comedy Week views.
