Quick Dish: Check Out the ONE NIGHT ONLY Performance of Ivana Shein’s “Faking It” 12.10

FAKING IT is written and performed by Ivana Shein, a Canadian born writer/actress who was a winner on Canada’s version of Last Comic Standing. What? TV programs happen outside of the United States? Who knew? DECEMBER 10 Shein presents her full-length solo show “Fakng It” at the Comedy Central Stage. The show started out at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade and went to Just for Laughs in 2013. “Faking It” is about “sneaking onto the red carpet, to legitimately walk through customs at the US border.” Yes, being famous is apparently one way to secure landing residency. Of course, the tricky bit is fabricating the “famous” part. “Faking It” totally has that covered. You, the audience, get to find out the clever ways this feat was accomplished and it might involve a Rite Aid. Woot! Are you intrigued? Well, pencil in this FREE show NOW! You won’t regret it! Did I mention “Faking It” is directed by Emmy-winner Richard J. Lewis? GO!
