The experience of a comedy events is always better live. You just never know what’s going to happen, plus there’s some exciting risk involved. Sometimes a flub can turn into the best joke of the night. Well, for the first time in Comedy Central’s history it will air a stand-up special that’s totally LIVE. They also picked one of the best comedians to take on the challenge, BRIAN REGAN. Brian Regan: Live will air live from Radio City Music Hall in good ole New York City Saturday, September 26th. Regan made his first stand-up appearance on the “Late Show with David Letterman” in 1995. Tonight he will be making his twenty-eighth appearance on the show where he will announce this glorious event. It’s fitting that Regan should be the first to participate in this Comedy Central special since he’s a stand-up comic at heart. The comedian visits close to 100 cities each year and has sold out venues across the continent. It’s like he was meant to do this! You’ve seen him in Chris Rock’s Top Five and Jerry Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars and this fall you’ll see him LIVE in your face through a glass screen. Get the popcorn ready!
