After the success of CONAN’s grand excursion to Cuba, it’s no surprise that the program is seeking out another far off destination to broadcast from. This time our esteemed host is taking his assistant, Sona Movsesian, to the land of her ancestry. Yep, Conan O’Brien and his crew will be booking it to Armenia. Conan will be the first American late-night host to do a show from the former Soviet republic. It will also be Sona’s first trip to the country. Other adventures Conan’s has gone on include trips to New York, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, and Comic-Con in San Diego. At the Turner Broadcast “upfront” presentation the execs suggested O’Brien would be doing a series of road-trip specials so expect even more fun! The Armenia episode is set to air Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 11 p.m. (ET/PT).
