Quick Dish: THE WIRE MOTHERS Celebrate One of the Worst Composers Ever at The Annoyance Theatre NY

Hey New York kids, starting this holiday weekend work off those turkey pounds by making the trek to The Annoyance Theatre. The musical comedy duo, The Wire Mothers, will be bringing you a performance that’s already impressed a sold out crowd at The Montreal Sketch Festival. Mel Buttermench: A Memorial Concert features two very off-Broadway chorus girls Diane Nowandlater (Madonna Refugia) and Carol Guddenplente (Briana Kelly) who finally get their chance in the spotlight as they pay a musical tribute to an equally super off-Broadway composer. You can see the show Sunday, November 29th and Sunday, December 6th. The Wire Mother’s Madonna Refugia is a comedian, contributing writer for Above Average and Reductress mag. Madonna’s partner in crime, Briana Kelly, is a former member of Philly’s ManiPedi & Dog Mountain sketch comedy groups. She’s performed in the Ladies are Funny Fest, the Montreal Sketch Fest, NYC Sketch Fest, Philly Sketch Fest, and the Women in Comedy Fest. Don’t miss these ladies perform!
