January is going to be an exciting month of television. One of the reasons to be all giddy is that MMA star Ronda Rousey will be making her debut appearance as host of Saturday Night Live January 23rdSelena Gomez, also a first timer on SNL. The date will mark the fighter’s first major television spot since Holly Holm defeated her in a UFC bantamweight bout November of last year in Melbourne, Australia (boy, was it brutal). It certainly will be interested to see her test her comedy chops in front of a live audience. Also this month on SNL, we will be treated to Star War: The Force Awakens‘ star Adam Driver January 16. Driver plays Kylo Ren in the film, so I expect there will be some amazing Star Wars based sketches to look forward to. Yay 2016!
