YouTubers are becoming stars left and right. No genre has been left unturned and the path to stardom is ripe with possibility. In the new comedy web series from New York’s UCB-trained comedy group TENDER, we find a collection of pop singers reeling from the 5 million hits garnered from their debut YouTube music video. The band is ready to sign with a major record label and hilarity ensues. The series is both a playful dissection of the music industry and a parody of shows like “Making the Band” and “MTV Diary.” Watch the first two episodes in which we are introduced to Tender, who has signed with an esteemed record label, Pony Records. Their meeting with the head of the label, Trish Trishards (played by Langan Kingsley), “responsible for making Beef the most successful pop band since One Direction” will have you doubled over. Find out if Tender will be future pop legends or merely a one hit wonder. Enjoy the Pilot and The Record Executive episodes of Tender: Road to Dreamz NOW!
