Tasty News: First Time in History ‘South Park’ Misses Deadline

A full 16 seasons without any glitches is impressive by any standard but everyone’s gotta fail sometimes even if it’s purely an act of technology. Yesterday the newest episode of South Park, “Dawn of the Poser” did not air due to a loss of power at South Park Studios. Luckily, an encore of Scott Tenorman Must Die (my all time favorite episode) was Live-Tweeted.  Not a total loss, right? According to the South Park website

On Tuesday night, South Park Studios lost power. From animation to rendering to editing and sound, all of our computers were down for hours … Trey Parker said, “It sucks to miss an air date but after all these years of tempting fate by delivering the show last minute, I guess it was bound to happen.”
