UCB

This month writers and performers Janet Silverman (UCB’s Nipsey, Janet Looks at 89 D*cks) and Lindsay Brill (The Old Globe, Hack My Life) are bringing the topical subject of healthcare to UCBT Chelsea. Under the direction of Matt Gehring (Montreal Just For Laughs, Amazon’s The Tick), their 30 minute exercise in farce, URGENT CARE, features two women, struggling “with anger issues, expiring health insurance, and the norms of traditional adulthood,” find a kind of “Cheers” like solace at their local Urgent Care facility. Brill and Silverman take turns playing every role in the show to up the ante of this humorous display. Check it out August 10th and August 24th alongside Power Hour, a fast-paced, music-driven sketch comedy show where Top 40 music with crazy lyrics is a thing. GO!
