What would happen if the Grim Reaper exchanged taking lives for being a human being on Earth? Interesting question, no? The new comedy series Death Lives poses just this question. Written by Erick Hellwig and Chris Aurilio, the series, starring Hellwig as Death, follow the Grim Reaper after he quits his job to become one of the living in NYC (if you can consider New Yorkers living, j/k). The New York pilot of the series will premiere at this year’s North Fork TV Festival, which runs September 7-9 in Greenport, New York. The pilot features Death experiencing some of the finer moments in human life, like meeting someone special, but it gets a bit hairy as Death’s repear replacement and Cupid brother complicate things.
