Get excited, Boston! Saturday, September 9th the TV Guidance Counselor podcast will celebrate it’s 250th episode with a FREE party (aka Sleepover Spectacular) at Comicazi in Somerville. Host Ken Reid Larry Murphy of Bob’s Burgers is the guest for episode 250 of TVGC which comes out next Wednesday, September 6th. The Sleepover Spectacular will be a night of trivia, rare TV clips, and a smashing retrospective of the first 250 episodes where much fun will be had.
For the uninitiated, TV Guidance Counselor launched way baking 2014 on Valentine’s Day bringing it’s audience the classic television world and notable actors, artists, writers, musicians and comedians like Dan Savage, Cassandra “Elvira Mistress of the Dark” Peterson, Ben Schwartz, John Hodgman, Dana Gould, Greg Proops, “Weird Al” Yankovic, Jen Kirkman , and more.
You see, host Ken Reid owns every copy of the TV Guide from the 60s through the 90s, so it was the next logical conclusion to invite celebrity guests onto his pod to discuss what they’d watch on a television history date of their choosing.
