Quick Dish NY: Atlas Obscura’s We Have No Idea: Pi Day Special Edition 3.14 at Caveat

Did someone say Pi? No, it’s not the kind you smell venting from atop your grandma’s kitchen counter, however it’s just as satisfying. Wednesday, March 14th, Pi Day, the most mathematical day of the year gets a heap of much deserved attention. Atlas Obscura’s We Have No Idea brings you an interactive presentation at everyone’s favorite “science-themed clubhouse,” Caveat NYC, where PHD Comics creator Jorge Cham and particle physicist Daniel Whiteson will explain all those things we have no clue about with science and live cartooning. Remember when you were so sad you wouldn’t have pie? It turns out THERE WILL be a π buffet (while supplies last) featuring Pi Day inspired desserts from former Four & Twenty Blackbirds baker, Sarah Dahlinger. Nom. After the presentation, there will also be a Pi Recitation Contest where the attendee with the best memory could earn a cool prize. Save the 3.14… date!
