Quick Dish NY: A Game Wrapped in A Storytelling Show (MOSTLY) TRUE THINGS 4.22 at The Tank

The show that’s been playing to packed houses in Long Island for the past 3 years, (MOSTLY) TRUE THINGS, will be doing it’s storytelling bidding Sunday, April 22nd at The Tank. Hosted by show creator Jude Treder-Wolff, the game is as follows: One storyteller delivers the honest to spaghetti monster, plain truth, while three others add homemade untruths to it. Where things ramp up is when the audience is allowed to question the storytellers, who use improvisation to craft their responses. Ultimately, it is the audience who decides who is telling the straight truth using the very democratic process of voting.

Jude Treder-Wolff and Wells Hanley provide improvised story-inspired music and songs while Liz Gannon Graydon (Co-founder of the nonprofit What BETTER), Robin Gelfenbien (The Moth, RISK! Live, Yum’s the Word), Brian Grossi (Caroline’s on Broadway, Gotham), Rhonda Hansome (Louie, SNL), and David Lawson (RISK! Live, Mara Wilson’s What Are You Afraid Of?) deliver storytelling magic. Won’t you come join them for a verifiably enjoyable evening! Did I mention there will be prizes? GO!
