Quick Dish NY: NATASHA VAYNBLAT Does Characters & Standup 6.12 at Carolines

Tired of those run-of-the-mill standup specials? Well, NATASHA VAYNBLAT has just the remedy for your understated boredom! Tuesday, June 12th at Carolines on Broadway, she’ll put on a ONE-NIGHT ONLY 90 minute hybrid standup/character special where she’ll deliver genre spanning comedy that includes everything from jokes about her Russian upbringing to performances from her favorite NYC comics. The night will be hosted by Ashley Brooke Roberts (Night Train with Wyatt Cenac) and will feature

CJ Hunt (The Rundown with Robin Thede)
Mary Cella (Little Old Lady Comedy)
Eric Gersen (UCB)

You will, of course, recognize Natasha from her kooky instagram @natashawearsclothes which has been mentioned by yours truly, Bust, PureWow, and Brooklyn Mag. She’s written for MTV’s Guy Code vs Girl Code and was a co-creator of the IFC web series Laurie and Red Autumn, plus was the star of Above Average’s Katie, A Lady. She’s performed her solo shows “The United Federation of Teachers” and “Self Help Yourself, Help!” at UCB NY and LA. Not to mention, she is also currently a writer/performer for Comedy Central’s Digital Creators. Natasha’s a real comedy powerhouse and is ready to make you think of standup specials in a totally different way. I’m pretty sure she’ll be wearing clothes, so GO!

Mentions: Show 7:30pm. Tickets are $18 and can be purchased at the venue or online. Carolines on Broadway is located at 1626 Broadway, NY, 10019.
