Wednesday, May 30th at The Pack Theater, the Ladies of Sketch Night celebrates and showcases women who perform and write. Produced by Heidi Lux and Elyssa Phillips, the show features unique sketches from LA’s burgeoning female comedy community. What started as a backstage discussion has turned into sold-out shows featuring female driven comedy. “We’ve found that sketches that get rejected due to gender bias end up doing really well at Ladies of Sketch Night,” says Heidi Lux. “It’s really rewarding to know that these sketches have a home, and that home is a happy, supportive, well-adjusted one.” Pas subjects of Sketch Night have included subjects ranging from “The Hot Goats of Beverly Hills” to “he age-old legends of tampons.” What will they come up next?
