Quick Dish NY: More PULITZER SURPRISES 11.1 at Caveat

And the prize goes to… well darn, ANYONE! According to the Pulitzer website, anyone can nominate anything for the coveted honor. Lucky for you, PULITZER SURPRISES has latched on to that atrocious concept and turned it into raw entertainment material. November 1st at Caveat, Eliza Cossio (Wyatt Cenac, The Daily Show) and Caroline Schaper (Full Frontal, Letterman) will have their favorite comedians perform their submission for a Pulitzer. First Caroline and Eliza interview a real-life Pulitzer Prize winner who tells the audience what they should look for in a Pulitzer Prize winner. At the conclusion of the show, the audience casts their vote on who deserves a Pulitzer, and then, wait for it… it will REALLY be submitted for a Pulitzer Prize. Fingers crossed! This month’s lineup includes

Mitra Jouhari (Three Busy Debras, Miracle Workers)
Blythe Roberson (Colbert, The New Yorker)
Maggie Widdoes (Reductress, Funny or Die)
Cassidy Routh (Full Frontal)

and real Pulitzer Prize winner Michael Moss, author of the #1 New York Times bestseller SALT SUGAR FAT: How the Food Giants Hooked Us, & Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative reporter formerly with the Times

Don’t miss all the fun!
