Quick Dish NY: POP STARS ARE DUMB (But We Love Them) 1.30 & 2.20 at UCB Hell’s Kitchen

Your new favorite musical sketch comedy show, Pop Stars Are Dumb (But We Love Them) will continue it’s run at Upright Citizens Brigade’s Hell’s Kitchen January 30th and February 20th in New York City. Brian Bonobos, played by Daniel Lempert (UCB Maude and Lloyd Night), will be your spirited host for the evening. Get hella informed as he digs up dirt on your favorite artists, like Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, the biebs, and more! You will see original parody pop star characters played by Eliza Kingsbury (UCB Maude Night, Chicago and Toronto Sketchfest), as well as hear original pop songs from Kingsbury parodying a variety of artists. The show is directed by Michael Harney (School of Rock on Broadway, JFL, UCBT NY Artistic Director), written by Kingsbury, and featuring Douglas Widick (UCB, North Coast).
