Quick Dish NY: SECRETS & LIES Storytelling Show Tomorrow at Caveat

Caveat

TOMORROW at Caveat, tales will be spun and history will be unearthed! New York City’s SECRETS AND LIES Storytelling show ask it’s audience one important question, “Can you tell the difference between a secret and a lie when it involves New York City history?” Still pondering that one, then let us tell you more about the show. Four expert storytellers will tickle your noggin with secrets about the Big Apple’s past, but ONE will be a total sham of a story. If you are able to separate the fact from the fiction, you could be in the running to win a fabulous prize from Untapped Cities.

This month, participants will be spinning yarns about “What Lies Beneath.” Yes, there are “covert operations, secret lives, and hidden goings on” occurring down below the chaos of those busy streets! Tomorrow, special guest and well kept NYC secret, Ben Mirin (National Geographic Explorer, Fellow at The Explorers Club, Audubon Society), the beatboxing ecologist, will tell you about his wildlife music work. Also, award-winning author, journalist, and host Christa Avampata will welcome

Marie Carter (NPR, The New York Times, Huffington Post, Q.E.D.)
Sandi Marx (The Moth Slam Champion, Kevin Allison’s RISK!, Story Collider, HotMic with Dan Savage)
Jeff Baker (Actors Equity)
Dan Abse (Retrocast Lab)

Let those secrets be unearthed! GO!
