Quick Dish NY: BECCA BEBERAGGI Tackles Mental Illness with Her Solo Show PARTY ANIMAL Premiering Tomorrow at The Tank

The Tank

TOMORROW, June 18th at the awesome off-Broadway Tank Theatre, Ecuadorian American writer, comedian, playwright, actress, singer, and visual artist BECCA BEBERAGGI brings you her solo show PARTY ANIMAL. The hour-long event explores how Becca came to the realization that her celebratory event incompatablity was due to an undiagnosed mental illness. In other words, there was an honest-to-goodness legit reason for her being bad at parties! (My own wall flower behavior at such shindigs was solely due to crippling shyness of which I’ve kinda, mostly recovered from.)

Beberaggi is a graduate of The Stella Adler Studio of Acting and has studied at The T. Schreiber Studio, UCB, The PIT, and HB Studios. In 2018 she was a member of the Tank Theatre’s TV Pilot Writing Program and is the editor for the humor blog, Lady-Saurus Comedy. Becca has produced various shows in the New York City area, including a comedy show at Union Hall called, “So Many Problems” which was listed in Time Out NY’s “Best Comedy Shows By Women in NYC.” Previous to “Party Animal,” she delivered the solo show “I laugh To Keep From Crying,” which received a limited run at The Tank’s Off Broadway Theatre Space in February of 2018. She has appeared at numerous comedy fests including The Brooklyn Comedy Festival, The Finger Lakes Comedy Festival, Speak Up, Rise Up and She Makes Me laugh Femme Fest. Now aren’t you glad she was crappy at all those parties? Go see her do her comedy thing TOMORROW at The Tank!

Mentions: Show 9:30pm. $12 tickets HERE. The Tank is located at 312 West 36th Street, New York, NY, 10018.
