Is it possible to put together a sketch show in the middle of a pandemic? YES! Before this viral reckoning, SKETCH CRAM would gather a group of talented writers and actors every month to fashion a brand new sketch show in just one day. Impressive, right?! The writers would gather in the morning and write into the afternoon, then come nightfall, they’d learn the sketches and put them on display at UCB Hell’s Kitchen. Now that everyone is quarantined (til gosh knows when), the show is going digital!
This time, writers and actors will work remotely putting their creativity to the test. FIFTEEN quarantined writers will be paired with FIFTEEN production teams. Meetings will be conducted via Zoom, and the film makers will use whatever they have access to to produce some fan pleasing sketches. So when will the show go on?
