Quick Dish: The LA Premiere of ‘Stand Up Planet’ Happens TOMORROW at Downtown Indie

So what exactly is Stand up Planet? It is a travelogue TV program hosted by LA-based comedian Hasan Minaj. The documentary follows Minaj as he travels around the world to learn about experiences of stand-up comics living in much less privileged societies. With the assistance of his comedian friends like Nate Bargatze, James Adomian and Michelle Buteau, Minaj then brings these international comedians stateside to share their comedy and point of view in a Hollywood comedy showcase and television show. The comedians also stop by for a once in lifetime meeting with the comedy veteran Bill Cosby. Check out this trailer:
