Saturday, August 18, Hollywood’s Pack Theater hosts a STAR-STUDDED ONE-DAY PACKCON3 complete with comedy stars and up-and-comers. It’s the third anniversary of the fastest growing independent comedy theater in Los Angeles, and a grand celebration is to be had. This year’s fest will include stand-up, sketch, improv and variety shows running back-to-back from noon to Midnight (or to the bitter end). The Pack is LA’s only pay-what-you-can theater, so ALL but two shows at the celebration will be donation-based. Yes, that means getting in line early to guarantee your prime-viewing spot. The two fab shows we mentioned are the 9 p.m. Miles Stroth Celebrity All-Star Improv Set improv spectacular hosted by Pack Theater founder and legendary improviser Miles Stroth and the 10 p.m. Super-Sized Loosey Goosey stand-up and character showcase hosted by Sam Brown (The Whitest Kids U’ Know), Josh Fadem (Better Call Saul, 30 Rock), and Bridey Elliot (Clara’s Ghost). Tickets will be available at packtheater.com; $10 General Admission for each show, or $15 for guaranteed seating at both shows through the PACKCON3 Prime Pass.
