You see kids, back in the olden days, folks would record a bunch of their favorite tunes on this plastic rectangle that contained tiny film that could hold literally DOZENS of songs. You’d either keep that geometric block for eternity or pass it on to friends and potential future mates. At New Wave Mixtape, “iconic 80s new wave songs are used as a jumping off point into realms satirical, fantastical, dystopian, and sometimes just dumb.” Written and performed by Jacob Ready (@teenagedwerewolf) and Richard Bucey and directed by Austin Sanders, the high octane two-person show offers you a musically inspired wealth of sketches.
