This year’s New York Comedy Festival gets in gear November 5-11. We are proud to slap our giant, sloppy seal of approval for IN A WORLD: The Dating Show presented by the fest Tuesday, November 6th at The Peoples Improv Theater. Dating anywhere, but especially New York, is a daunting proposition. Lucky for you, comedian and matchmaker extraordinaire Emma Vernon beckons you two watch two brave daters go on a genuine, blind entanglement LIVE on stage. Yes, these two are set by your host and what happens before your eyes is entirely up to them (and some improvisers). The date will take place on stage in a ‘first date’ location created by the improvisers. Can it be that the perfect fake setting is all it takes to find true love? Only one way to find out.
