Quick Dish LA: AN EVENING with TOOTS McAPPLESAUCE ‘Only Slightly Misbehaving’ TOMORROW 10.9 at Visionarium Live Italian

An Evening with Toots McApplesauce: Only Slightly Misbehaving returns to Visionarium Live Italian in South Pasadena THIS Friday, October 9, following a sold-out debut. Performer, comedian, and singer Susan Sassi brings her vintage cabaret character Toots McApplesauce to life through original musical parody (classic jazz and Great American Songbook favorites), character comedy, storytelling, and playful audience interaction.

Only Slightly Misbehaving brings old-Hollywood glamour together with a gloriously wandering train of thought. Toots McApplesauce wants to be a lady. Unfortunately, her brain wants to be a junk drawer. She is an elegant, slightly absent-minded cabaret hostess whose wit, warmth, and habit of misplacing her own thoughts make every performance feel polished, personal, and completely unpredictable.

Between the music, the memories, and whatever she came into the room to say, Toots attempts to maintain her dignity while her brain attempts to go on vacation. The evening invites guests to enjoy dinner, music, laughter, and a performer who is trying very hard to behave herself.

Grab your tickets before they are toots gone!
