Quick Dish Quarantine: HOFF’S HORRORFEST Presents Francis Ford Coppola’s “Dementia 13” This St. Patty’s Day

Ah St. Patrick’s Day, that time when the fasting goes out the window, ushering in a bevy of ill-matched green garments and spirited liquid consumption. At least, that’s what it used to be! This March 17th, make a new tradition by joining HOFF’S PUBLIC DOMAIN HORRORFEST for an evening of cinematic “boils and ghouls.” Join your host Hoff Matthews (Comedy Central) and co-producers, Andrei Alupului (Come Ova, UCB), Marybess Pritchett (An Inconvenient Talk Show), and George Gordon (Laugh Track Festival, Your Good Friend), for a “terrifying tale of murder, deceit, and unsettled spirits, starring William Campbell and Luana Anders!”

The Irish-themed cinematic delight of the evening will be DEMENTIA 13, produced by Roger Corman, and Francis Ford Coppola’s both, first feature from his own screenplay, and mainstream “legitimate” directorial debut. The black and white Psycho-esque horror-thriller follows a young woman as she attempts “to secure her husband’s family fortune by covering up his death and inspiring a haunting at his ancestral castle in Ireland. Unfortunately, a very real axe murderer happens to be stalking the grounds as well.” Looks like someone should have kissed that Blarney Stone! The evening will include brand new segments from the Horrorfest scream team, plus those fun facts and drinking games you love so much. And, hopefully this time (say the names of the Derry Girls three times) the internet gatekeepers won’t force poor Hoff to switch streaming platforms mid-show. Monsters! Pluck those four-leaf clovers before you sit down for a night of bloody fun!
