Quick Dish Quarantine: VIDEOPOCALYPSE with GIANMARCO SORESI Searches for the Funniest Video 4.20 at RushTix

Can anyone remember when America’s Funniest Home Videos first popped up on the TV landscape? Too many hosts to count, 31 seasons later, and America is still watching it. Wow, are we clingy! Well, there’s a new video show in town called VIDEOPOCALYPSE, and it will be streaming to your person on the chillest of holidays, April 20th. Our favorite comic on Twitter Gianmarco Soresi (The Downside) will host this quest to find the funniest video in the world. There will be a live studio audience selected among tickets buyers and the real-time audience will be voting for the cream of the crop of the lot. Hey, that sounds suspiciously like AFV! Calm down! We promise it will be SO much better. For those die-hard Comedy Cake readers, you will be quite familiar with Soresi’s work already. The rest of you may know Soresi’s comedic achievements from programs like Netflix’s Bonding, PBS’s Stories from the Stage, Amazon’s Comics Watching Comics, SeeSo’s New York’s Funniest, Real Housewives of New York and his first comedy special “Shelf Life,” now available on Amazon Prime. See, you are totally in safe virtual hands. Now get your RushTix below!
