Hey kids, LL Cool J once said “Mama said knock you out!” Guess what? It still holds up! April 21st there won’t be any fisticuffs happening, but the comedy will be in full swing. TruTV’s Comedy Knockout is posed to crown a true comedy champ each episode. Damien Lemon (Guy Code, Not Exactly News) hosts this series of expeditious challenges which pit three comics against one another. Points are awarded based on the audience’s applause as comedians try to one-up their competitors with “roast-like, rapid-fire jabs.” Some of the competitors you can look forward to battling it out include Jim Norton, Sherrod Small, Kevin Barnett, Jamie Lee, Arden Myrin, Chris Distefano, Yamaneika Saunders, Dave Hill and more! There can only be one winner, but there can also only be one comedian eliminated and one who must face the crowd for being defeated so badly. Ouch! The series debuts April 21st for a 10-episode season. Here’s a peek!
