Quick Dish NY: Swing on by The SCIENCE COMEDY SALOON for A Big Science Comedy Party THIS Saturday 3.5 at Caveat

Clank those beakers in the air because the SCIENCE COMEDY SALOON is happening THIS Saturday, February 5th at Caveat. If you get the acid vapors (not recommended) from programs like “Bill Nye The Science Guy” and “Beakman’s World,” then this event is right up your alley! New York City’s best science comedians will be gathering to throw you a giant nerd-tastic standup comedy party. Your brainy performers will include:

Self-described “dropout paleoanthropologist,” producer of The Symposium: Academic Stand-Up, Code Switch Improv, and Asians Strike Back, AND science communication trainer Kyle Marian (The Symposium, Buzzfeed, NowThis)

Neuroscientist and the producer/cohost of NYC’s Drunk Science Dr. Shannon Odell (Your Brain On Blank)

Climate journalist and producder/host of DC Science Comedy Kasha Patel (WaPo Capital Weather Gang)

and some more of their comedy and nerdy pals!

Per the folks at The Symposium Academic Stand-Up “it’s been 300 years of this pandemic and we’re ready to wear something other than pajamas while laughing (more than crying) at the state of world.” Sounds like a date! Be there!

Mentions: Show 4pm ET. 5 at 4pm. Tickets $15 in advance, $20 at the door, $10 livestream. 21+. Location: Caveat Theatre, 21A Clinton St. (off of Houston, F to Delancey or M/J/Z to Essex St.).
