Comedy duo extraordinaire PURE & WEARY (Funny or Die, Second City) will host an evening of comedy, poetry, music and more THIS Friday April 28th at The Yard Theater in the heart of East Hollywood. Katherine Biskupic and Leah Frires have headlined and performed at Seattle Sketchfest, Philly Sketchfest, Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival, NYC Sketch Fest, the Dallas Comedy Festival, Portland Sketch Fest, the Crossroads Comedy Festival, the New Movement Theatre-NOLA, Big-Little Comedy Fest, Out of Bounds Fest and the Joshua Tree International Comedy Festival, where they took home the award for, “Best Sketch Group.” The duo’s comedy videos have been featured on Vulture, Funny or Die, UPROXX, USA Today, WhoHaHa and the iO Comedy Network.
