After going through a breakup, award-winning comedian Sophie Santos (The Lesbian Agenda, The One You Want to Marry), butts heads and belts it out with their personified OCD. Santos is an award-winning comedian, writer, and author of the best-selling comedic memoir, The One You Want to Marry. Their book debuted at number one to critical acclaim and won the Lambda Literary Award. Santos has appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and has been featured in Entertainment Weekly, them., Bustle, and more. You’d think they had it all but… when the pandemic forced Sophie and their girlfriend, Lily, to move next door to Lily’s parents AND Lily landed a job two days later…in Pennsylvania, life went a bit topsy-turvy.
Tormented by the “space” between the two, Sophie’s personified OCD reappeared and supercharged the codependency, thus imploding the relationship. Sophie, of course, hired a life coach who explained the way to get back to an ex as becoming the best version of YOURSELF. Makes perfect sense, but easier said than done. This show is the embodiment of that saga culminating in Sophie and OCD traveling together towards Sophie’s new life. Heads will butt. Tunes will be belted as Sophies learns to love to be alone again.
