This Monday, March 9th, MERMAID COMEDY HOUR is back at the Main Room of The Hollywood Improv for Women’s History Month. The show will partner with fellow comedy baddies Pallavi Gunalan (Dropout.tv, Lovett or Leave It), Fizaa Dosani (Dear White People, How to Get Away with Murder), and Zahra Ali (Flores and Friends, Bustle) from Facial Recognition Comedy, a nationally touring stand-up show featuring performers of South Asian and Middle Eastern descent. In addiiton, the show will also be featuring two of their favorite comedy icons, Sasheer Zamata (SNL, Agatha All Along) and Aparna Nancherla (Bojack Horeman, The Great North)!
Mermaid Comedy Hour is their 10th year of bringing on the smiles! Established in 2015, they have showcased hundreds of comics and counting. The show is produced & hosted by Valerie Tosi (Conan, Netflix), Kari Assad (WhoHaha, Netflix Is A Joke), and non-performer producer, Dani Otter, who will putting together a show that is sure to sell out.
