You know what we all need a little more of in our lives? Cake? Yes, ALWAYS cake, but I was thinking Bullseye with Jesse Thorn! If you don’t already know, Bullseye is a podcast and public radio program that infuses it’s listeners with a healthy dose of arts and culture on a weekly basis. The always civil and engaging host, JESSE THORN, will be bringing his amazing interview skills to a city near you with a smattering of live shows (6 cities in total) this fall. The World Tour of Several American Cities shows will replicate the format you are familiar with on the podcast and NPR broadcast, including amazing interviews with special guests, musical performances, live comedy and the occasional surprise. There is one exception, however. The November 20th show at The Greene Space in New York will feature a “Make Your Thing” talk followed by a interactive Q&A session lead by John Hodgman. Because name-dropping is always fun, some of the influential creatives Jesse has had the pleasure of interviewing in the past include Jesse Eisenberg, Alan Rickman, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Sleater-Kinney’s Corin Tucker, Rene Russo, The Pointer Sisters, Jemaine Clement and Keegan-Michael Key.
