Quick Dish NY: Improvised Historical Hip Hopera ANYBODY with North Coast in Residency at Caveat

Caveat

Nothing like #PresidentsDay to get you in the mood for some historical raps. New York City’s premiere hip-hop improv team, North Coast, will be cleverly combining freestyle rap and improv comedy for a grand March residency at Caveat. Hamilton isn’t the only smash musical in town, kids. In ANYBODY, North Coast takes a well known historical figure and performs a full improvised “hip-hopera” around that figure’s life. Past sold-out performances have featured the lives of Nikola Tesla, Louisa May Alcott and Frederick Douglass! What better way to learn about the past and guide the future! BE there Thursdays at Caveat!
