Quick Dish: Experimental Comedy Show DRUNK SCIENCE 9.15 at Littlefield

drunk science

You can explain most things with science. What you may not be able to explain is DRUNK SCIENCE! Thursday, September 15 at Littlefield in Brooklyn, three intoxicated comedians will compete to present the best scientific dissertation to a panel of actual scientists. Yes, you read that correctly. This back to school special will focus on the abstract idea of IGNORANCE, which your favorite funny folk will wax poetic about to experts on the subject. Your brainiacs for the evening will include

Bowen Yang (Brooklyn’s 50 Funniest People, UCB, Above Average)
Erin Gloria Ryan (Vocativ, Brooklyn’s 50 Funniest People)

Special guest SCIENTIST
Stuart J. Firestein, PhD, is the chair of the Department of Biological Sciences at Columbia University, where his laboratory is researching the vertebrate olfactory receptor neuron. Watch Dr. Firestein’s TED Talk, “The Pursuit of Ignorance,” HERE.
& more!

HOSTED by

Joanna Rothkopf (staff writer at Jezebel)
Shannon Odell (neuroscience PhD candidate at Weill Cornell)
Jordan Mendoza (was once pre-med)
