This Saturday, June 28th get ready for a brand NEW COMEDY SERIES premiering at the Dances with Fillms Festival at the historic TCL Chinese Theatre (lovingly known as the Mann’s Chinese to this die-hard Angeleno). HALFWAY HANDSOME was created by and stars Jamie Costa (whose viral Robin Williams impersonations have garnered international attention), JJ Carroll, Josh Fasold, and Matt Tory, directed by Matt Tory, and produced by Kianna Dixen and Jamie Costa.
The bold NEW comedy series features bizarre sketches, hilarious impressions, funny short films, parodies, and even original songs. Halfway Handsome delivers a fast-paced blend of surreal comedy and fresh, unpredictable humor. “It’s the perfect show for a good laugh with your girlfriend, roommate, co-worker, dog, or even your parents (though we can’t promise your parents will always get it),” says the show’s official DWF description.
Halfway Handsome will screen as part of DWF’s episodic showcase – a curated selection of standout pilots and series premieres – and marks the pilot’s FIRST public screening.
