Quick Dish LA: Reading from My Phone with Brian Bahe 5.22 at The Elysian Theater

2022 Indigenous List finalist for Decolonize, Brian Bahe, will perform a rare one-hour of stand-up, slides, and songs about his phone this Sunday, May 22nd at The Elysian Theater. The comedian lost his phone four times over the course of eight months. The consequences of these events left “a flurry of missed calls, intrigue, secrets, and socials security numbers in it’s wake.” No kidding! The indigenous, gay comedian, writer, and edgelord will focus on all the “dumb, wholesome, horny, stupid, crazy, sexy, cool things” that were contained with in the devices. For dramatic effect, Bahe will read from his phone to his adoring audience. Joining Bahe for this epic Reading from My Phone event will be special guests

Bahe has headlined Caroline’s on Broadway, taped a stand set for Comedy Central’s “Stand-Up Featuring,” has been featured in NPR, Vulture, and the LA Times, and hosts the Brooklyn-based monthly stand-up show “Star Fuckers: Astrology but Make It Comedy.” Don’t miss this opportunity to see him in action, hopefully with a secured phone. Enjoy!
