Quick Dish NY: KWEENDOM Comedy TONIGHT at Pete’s Candy Store

“The cap of my Snapple drink informed me that the # symbol is called an “octothorpe.” Upon further research, it’s a made-up term, invented at the Bell Labs for sending instructions to the telephone operating system. “The “octo” stands for the eight ends around the edge of the symbol. As for the “thorpe,” that’s still unclear. I’m going with the Old Norse where “thorpe” means “farm or field.” See you learned something today.

Now it’s time to go octothorpe the heck out of the KWEEDOM show, happening TONIGHT at Pete’s Candy Store. The show TimeOUT called “consistently dope” and Thrillist described as “extremely gay,” is hosted by Bobby Hankinson (SiriusXM) and will feature these laugh makers this very evening:

Zach Zimmerman (Comedy Cellar)
Tim Murray (Witches)
Sureni Weerasekera (New York Comedy Festival)
Micaela Fagan (Yaaas Fest)
Jamin Jamming (West Side Comedy Club)

The show is FREE and ready to spread a wealthy of laughter. #kweendom, adult kids!
