There’s nothing more attractive than forbidden fruit, especially one that sports classic cars and high quality cigars. With diplomatic relations between the U.S. and Cuba opening up CONAN decided to pay a visit to the long sanctioned country. The host opened this historic show with a short lesson and tour of the surroundings.
After a accomplishing the scary feat of crossing a street, Conan took us on a visit of the famous waterfront promenade called El Malecón. On his adventure the host enjoys a smoke and some “rum in a box” with the locals. (Take it away, Justin Timberlake)
Having had a taste of the sacred Cuban liquor, Conan tours the Havana Club Rum Museum. Conan warms up to the docent quickly and coaxes her to sing a cuban song to him after he’s sampled quite a few tasty rum bottles.
Conan’s trip to Cuba, of course, would not be complete without a proper Rumba. Conan proves he has ALL the moves.
Finally, watch as Conan enjoys authentic Cuban cuisine at a paladar, a family-run restaurant. Who knew there was a statue of Jesus AND Karl Marx together?
