This year the OSCARS were not just about the best dressed, betting pools, and winners. The issue of diversity was circling the awards show like a vulture at a meat party. Instead of sweeping the elephant in the room under the rug though, the show runners chose to bring the problem out in the open with a hilariously eye-opening monologue by Chris Rock, a most confusing Stacey Dash moment, a fake movie montage substituting black actors in Oscar roles, and other bits throughout the program. BTW, Tracy Morgan is better than ever! Humor is the best medicine sometimes.
