While the battle of Apple vs. the FBI continues, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver masterfully explained the ongoing fight over encryption and it’s ramifications Sunday night. The program showed that while there’s an immediate need to hack into the iPhone for law enforcement cases, the weakening of powerful security technology could cause a slippery slope affecting us all detrimentally.
