Hey, it’s an even playing field when it comes to Secrets & Liars. We’ve all had them and we’ve probably told a least a little white one at some time. Well, fellows artists of deceptions, this Sunday, July 17 creators/writers Ilana Michelle Rubin (Nanners Comedy) and Lana Schwartz (Nanners Comedy) will screen their new series, of course, aptly called Secrets & Liars. Here’s the gist:
When their estranged childhood friend turns up dead, best friends Frankie and Tabitha find themselves at the mercy of a dangerous, yet clumsy villain, who begins sending them mysterious messages. Although our liars–not all that different from the characters on Pretty Little Liars– would much rather lie in bed than fend off a killer, they’ll do it if they have to, they guess. They can’t trust anyone except each other, which is fine, because they don’t really want to hang out with anyone else anyway.
The series features familiar faces like Rubin & Schwartz, Andy Bustillos, Marshall Finch, Rasheda S. Crockett, David Bluvband, Anna Roisman, and MORE! It’s also directed by Comedy Cake BFF Jorja Hudson. In addition to the screening there will be performances by
