I don’t know about you, but it’s a winter holiday tradition to watch Bad Santa in my household. Lucky for the world, we are getting a special and extra naughty gift this November. Billy Bob Thornton (television series Fargo, Sling Blade) will reprise his Golden Globe-nominated role as Willy Soke, the worst Santa ever, this holiday season. Joining Thornton for BAD SANTA 2 will be Kathy Bates (American Horror Story, Misery) as Willy’s fearsome mom Sunny Soke, Ryan Hansen (Veronica Mars, 2 Broke Girls) as Regent Hastings, a charity rep, and Hasting’s wife Diana played Christina Hendricks (Another Period, Mad Men). Original cast members back for some laughter include Tony Cox as Marcus and Brett Kelly as Thurman Merman. Additional new comers include comedian Jenny Zigrino (50 Shades of Black, @Midnight, Adam DeVine’s House Party) and Jeff Skowron (Greg & Donny) filling the roles of security guards Gina & Dorfman. The screenplay for the sequel was written by Johnny Rosenthal, Doug Ellin, and Shauna Cross. Watch the slightly not safe for work trailer now for more deets.
