Mom always said you needed a little variety in your life. Well, TONIGHT is the night to get a whole heapful. This week Scot Nery’s Boobie Trap celebrates their 69th run. The acclaimed variety show has featured comedians like Steve-O, Matthew Patrick Davis, Henry Philips, Laurie Kilmartin and Erik Charles Nielson, all who just happened to have had a wild time at this unique event. Of course, being a variety show, past audiences have also been treated to entertainment that’s included cirque, magic, music, and MORE. Once occupying the former Derby Dolls space in Los Feliz, Boobie Trap now calls Cafe Fais Do Do it’s home. Every Wednesday you can take in this “fast-paced, interactive” smorgasbord of talent where you could see a guy spinning a cheeseburger on an umbrella or maybe some fire breathing. We promise you won’t get burnt! Some of the regulars on the show have been Kate Flannery (The Office) and Scot Robinson (Anchorman) The Lampshades, Cirque Du Soleil stars, Stefan Haves and Eric Newton, comedy magician Justin Willman (Comedy Central, Cupcake Wars), and The Late Late Show with James Corden’s comedic band leader, Reggie Watts. TONIGHT host and producer Scot Nery (Tonight Show, HBO Comedy Festival) presents comedy from the amazing Sammy Obeid and Paul Cibi. The rest you’ll have to find out yourself.
