Our animated worlds were rocked Sunday night when Brian Griffin passed away on Family Guy. Our long time canine pal was gone, ripped away from us so quickly. How could this be so? Fans immediately took to the streets, I mean the Internet, and voiced their opinions. As of right now the Bring Brian Griffin back to Family Guy petition on Change.org has amassed 45,988 supporters. Fans have expressed their feelings to Seth MacFarlane & FOX as such:
Only 4,000 and change worth of online signatures are needed to make the petition official BUT is this grassroots effort needed? A website has popped called briansannouncement.com. Fox is claiming they have no involvement in said website (a likely story). The website indicates an announcement will be made by Brian on Friday, December 6 at 1 PM ET/10 AM PT. Will Brian be rising from the dead to spread mirth to all? Will there be a revenge plot? Will he be singing “Always Look On the Bright Side of Life?” Only time will tell.
