It’s never too late to think about anniversaries and, BOY, has the world had a big one. We couldn’t think of any better beverages, I mean people, than Tall Boys to reflect on that year that changed us all forever. In their very special pandemic retrospective, Devin Ritchie (former teacher and house team member at UCB) and John Farnsworth (The Honeymoon Phase, The Great Outdoors) recap “the best of times and the worst of times” over a couple of tallboy beers. Instead of their regular weekly news roundup, you will enjoy segments like “Tall Boy on Tall Boys,” where the boys interview their pre-pandemic selves; #vaccinetalk with Medical Doctor and Physician Devin Richie, where terrible advice is dispensed to all; several rounds of the premiere game show “Pandemo Quizo Power Hour,” in which the world ultimately loses; a “Pandemic In Memoriam” segment where the boys remember everyone and everything that was lost; “Craft Corner” featuring a 420-friendly wreath, a bust of “America’s Mayor,” a working model of the Tall Boys set at Wicked Lady, a vial of Tom Hanks’ blood, and, of course, the Bird of the Week; some “where do you see yourself drinking this” words from the hosts has they sample the shows’s sponsor Collective Arts Brewery‘s wares; and a “Have Another Round or Close Me Out” sesh tackling subjects like mask, self-reflection, stimulus, working from home, Zoom and so much more! Tall Boys is filmed and produced by Devin Ritchie, John Farnsworth, and Casey Worthington at a temporarily closed Bushwick bar Our Wicked Lady. It is filmed with the help of Means of Productions. Devin, John, and Casey were, thankfully, brought together at a community college in Sacramento.
