Get Ready to Pounce as Catbaret Presents Just Kitten Around! Cat lovers are in for a paws-itively purrfect evening with Catbaret, the cat-themed variety show celebrating spring and kitten season, on April 24th at Caveat. The show is hosted by Gemma Smith (Tails and Tassels pod) featuring comedy, music and burlesque (aka purr-lesque). The talent will include:
*burlesque performances by fan favorite NYC performers Lady Mabuhay and Cashlee Banks
*the dazzling vocals of The Randy Andy (a post-modern Broadway musical revue putting a feline twist on classic pop hits) will be featured
*comedy by Alison Leiby, a writer and producer for Life & Beth and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
*drag artist Throb Fosse, co-host of Theater Camp at Culture Lab After Dark, will take the stage
*Bitsy Brulée, a multi-talented performer known for her work with Hotsy Totsy Burlesque and her quarterly Harlem show Bitsy’s Bits, will be performing a special piece in the upcoming show in tribute to her own kitty
*PLUS, expect a playful performance from actor and comedian, Nihara Nichelle
