The season finale of Last Week Tonight may have had it’s share of witty and hard-hitting news coverage but the segment and season winner for me was the Salmon Cannon. The tastiest of the sushi breeds returns to its spawning ground at the end of it’s lifecycle by actually “running up” freshwater rivers. With the advent of damns that has become a tad wee bit difficult. So to aid our fishy friends the Salmon Cannon was invented. It’s real, it’s glorious, and the fish are flying. Enjoy!
