This weekend Saturday Night Live head writer Colin Jost made his first appearance as co-anchor of Weekend Update. Jost joined cast member Cecily Strong, replacing Seth Meyers who ended his 13 season career at SNL to pursue his late-night talk show venture, Late Night with Seth Meyers. The rookie managed to fill Meyer’s shoes without a glitch and even showed off his interviewing skills with Matthew McConaughey (played by Taran Killam). We can’t wait to see what else the news newbie has in store for us.
